Yes, a 30% deposit is typically required to secure your booking.

We understand that providing detailed information during the booking process may seem extensive, but it is essential for safety reasons mandated by the port authority and maritime regulations.

  • What destinations do you sail to?

We sail to Dia Island and around Mirabello Bay, including Spinalonga and Kolokitha.

  • What types of boats do you offer?

Our fleet consists of Monohulls, providing an authentic sailing experience. These sleek and single-hulled vessels offer stability and maneuverability, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable journey on the water.

  • How long do the sailing trips typically last?

Our sailing cruises typically last either 4,5 hours or 6 hours. Whether you choose our shorter or longer option, each cruise promises unforgettable moments and breathtaking views.

  • What are the main differences between the 4,5-hour and the 6- hour cruises?

The main differences between the 4,5-hour and 6-hour cruises lie in the duration of the trip and the amenities provided. In the 4,5-hour trip, the menu typically includes snacks, while the 6-hour trip offers a meal (lunch or early dinner) along with additional time for swimming, water activities, relaxing, and sunbathing.

  • What is the maximum capacity of each boat?

Our boats can accommodate up to 10 people, ensuring ample space and comfort for all passengers.

  • Could you organize an event with multiple boats?

Yes, we can organize an event with multiple boats to accommodate your needs and ensure a memorable experience for all participants, regardless of group size.

  • What shall I bring with me?

For your sailing trip, we recommend bringing sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, comfortable clothing, swimwear, a towel, and any personal items you might need. Additionally, don’t forget to bring your passport or a picture of it for identification purposes, as it may be requested by the port authority.

*We kindly suggest avoiding bringing extra personal items that won’t be needed during the trip to ensure your comfort and convenience on board.

  • What amenities are available on board?

Our boats are equipped with amenities such as sun-lounger cushions, towels, fishing gear, Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP), snorkeling equipment and Bimini Tops for shade and sun protection.

  • Can I bring my own food and drinks?

Yes, you are welcome to bring your own food and drinks on board.

  • Is there a restroom on board?

Yes, all our boats are equipped with restroom facilities.

  • Are life jackets provided?

Yes, life jackets are provided for all passengers and crew members.

  • What safety measures are in place?

We have strict safety protocols in place, including regular safety checks on our boats and adherence to maritime regulations.

  • What happens in case of bad weather?

In case of bad weather, the captain may decide to postpone or cancel the trip for safety reasons. We will notify you as soon as possible and provide options for rescheduling or refunds.

  • What hygiene measures are in place to ensure a safe and clean sailing experience?

To maintain cleanliness on board, we sanitize high-touch surfaces during and after each cruise and adhere to strict hygiene protocols recommended by health authorities, including food safety and proper waste disposal.

  • What is your policy regarding cancellations and refunds?

0% refund in case of the customer not showing up at the day of the trip.

0% refund if trip is cancelled by customer up to 72 hours before the trip.

50% refund, if trip is cancelled by customer 72 hours or more prior to the trip.

100% refund, in case of cancellation of the trip due to force majeure (mechanical failure, weather conditions etc.).

  • Are there any fees for changing my booking?

If there is availability, there are no extra fees for changing your booking. However, if there is no availability, any fees incurred would follow the terms outlined in the cancellation policy.

  • Is it possible to request a transfer service?

Our transfer service adds convenience to your journey. Upon request, we’ll align the extra cost to your pickup and drop off points, ensuring a smooth transition to and from the enchanting world of Avanti Sailing.

  • Can I request special arrangements or services?

Yes, you can request special arrangements or services such as an elaborate lunch/dinner, a birthday cake, champagne or another premium wine, a private chef, onboard entertainment, or special decorations for celebrations.

*Please note that these extras are available only for private cruises. Their approval is subject to the discretion of the Avanti Sailing team as they should not interfere with the sailing procedures.

  • Are there any extra fees for additional services?

Additional services may incur extra fees, which will be communicated to you upfront before confirming your booking.

  • How far in advance do I need to request additional services?

We recommend requesting additional services as early as possible to ensure availability and proper arrangements. However, we will do our best to accommodate last-minute requests whenever feasible.
